Twitch streaming

During the Covid lockdown I became really involved in building a community on Twitch. I've had a blast connecting with people and personalizing graphics to be associated with my "brand," including starting screens and emotes.

Controller Modding

I have a habit of personalizing anything I can get my hands on. I've ripped apart controllers of nearly every gaming platform to their bare bones and replaced parts with different color housings and added lights.

Etsy Shop

Since May 2017, I have owned a successful Etsy shop for stickers that fit a popular line of personal planners. I designed the layout and curated the artwork, fonts, and colors used in each kit.

Founding Designer

Faye (Contract)

Dec 2023 - Current

  • Founded experiences from the ground up for an AI based two-sided marketplace startup for family personal assistants.
  • Established design system and branding identity for the site and marketing materials.
  • Conducted frequent user studies with existing family assistants.
  • Supported marketing visual needs for ads and promotional materials.
  • Contributed directly to the code base to refine design implementation.
  • Maintained the Webflow landing page.
Senior UX Designer

Rad Power Bikes (Contract)

(Various) 2023 - 2024

  • Created a new product page design to allow for complex e-bike build options, assembly, and delivery options.
  • Redesigned the landing page and entry points for the Store Locator to encourage more test rides, the most successful method of e-bike conversion.
  • Conducted a user research study via Maze to validate design assumptions.
  • Crafted the study, as well as parsed the results to deliver a detailed report report to stakeholders.

  • Designed and improved user experiences for employers on the Match Recommendation Platform.
  • Led ideation workshop sessions to better define open-ended ambiguous projects.
  • Worked with engineers to implement various ease-of-use improvements to the matching experience dashboard.

  • Supported multiple development teams on several aspects of the Zulily website.
  • Created their first modernized design system.
  • Worked on improving the shopping experience, as well as updated views for visitors' first impressions of the website.

Aug 2020 - Nov 2020

  • Worked on the Content Experience team responsible for improvements to the main feed of LinkedIn's homepage.
  • Created updated concepts for redesigning the "Open to work/hiring/freelance/career guidance" feed cards while considering the needs of four other teams into one solution.
  • Created detailed specs for new features to the LinkedIn Stories feature, including specs for UX flow, accessibility, animation, spacing, and sizing.

  • Worked on the Design Systems team to create documentation imagery for the newly updated components in LinkedIn's new design system.
  • Proposed multiple creative options and created images to be referenced by all of LinkedIn's product designers for 35 total components.
